Marriott International’s NCAA Men’s Final Four Welcome Reception & Coaches Breakfast

As the official hotel partner of the NCAA, Marriott Bonvoy created a custom hospitality experience for a selected members, which featured a weekend-long schedule of events for everyone to enjoy.​

The kickoff of the NCAA weekend started with a Welcome Reception where guests were greeted with food, an open bar and welcome tote bags filled with swag and co-branded goodies.

The space was then repurposed for the famed Coaches Breakfast, a buffet where surprise coaching talent made an appearance— Tommy Amaker, Harvard and James Jones, Yale. The talent hosted a chalk-talk style discussions followed by an opportunity for guests to take photos and obtain autographs from the legends alongside the National Championship trophy. The coaches breakfast was held on Saturday morning prior to the Final Four games and Monday morning prior to the National Championship game.

As Lead Producer, my responsibilities were as following:

• Nook photo opp custom fabrication

• Furniture rental & load in / out

• Vinyl installation

• Welcome bag premiums & custom pillows

• Liaise with the NCAA Commission for the arrival, storage and display of the National Championship Trophy
