Visa x Chase Sapphire Women’s World Cut Watch Party

Visa partnered with Chase to host 150 Chase Sapphire cardmembers and 20 Chase executives at an exclusive World Cup final watch party on Friday, July 21, 2022. The event took place at Tom’s Watch Bar in the LA Live Section of Los Angeles.

Cardmembers were invited to participate in a meet & greet photo opportunity with retired soccer players and U.S. Olympic Gold medalists Brandi Chastain, Tisha Venturini and Joy Fawcett. Once the meet & greet ended, they participated in a Q&A sessions where they answered cardmember-submitted questions. When the match began, cardmembers enjoyed an open bar and brunch buffet while enjoying the live broadcast.

As the Lead Event Producer, my role was to do the following:

• Bring custom fabricated soccer ball photo opp wall to life

• Ensure branding elements were prominent throughout the space

• Secure & plan logistics for the custom fabrication elements

• Management of talent — Soccer Olympians, DJ & emcee

• Venue oversight and f&b management

• Vendor management — Photo Booth supplier, furniture rental company, brand ambassadors

Notable Elements of the Activation:

• Custom 10x10 soccer ball photo opportunity wall

• Maximum use of all TVs to display the co-branded event, showcasing both Visa & Chase Sapphire brands

• Oversized & unique photo booth — a big hit for all!

• Prominent free-standing signage, including SEG step & repeat, and inclusion of logo lockup branding

• Sleek & comfortable placement of soft seating & complimentary pillows

• Unique decor lending a nod to soccer, such as plant holders made from soccer balls, cleats, inflatable noise clappers and pom-poms
